Cuddle magic
Cuddle Magic is a six-member, conservatory-trained avant-pop/chamber-pop band formed in Boston, now based between Brooklyn and Philadelphia, known for their "quiet storm" sound that blends intricate harmonies, complex composition, wordplay, and influences from indie folk, experimental pop, and world music, particularly Ghanaian music, as seen in their album Ashes/Axis. The band members—Benjamin Lazar Davis, Alec Spiegelman, Christopher McDonald, Kristin Slipp, Cole Kamen-Green, and Dave Flaherty—are all accomplished musicians who have collaborated with a wide range of other artists, from Beyoncé to independent musicians like Okkervil River.
