Camp Howard emerged out of the high energy DIY scene in Richmond. After playing shows nearly every night for months, early 2016 saw them release their debut self-titled album on local labels Bad Grrrl, Crystal Pistol, & Citrus City records. A product of their early acoustic bedroom songwriting projects, their first laid-back indie rock efforts as an established four piece, and their heavier more aggressive punk influenced experiments. Since their debut release in 2016, the band has continued to write new material and tour with an emphasis on tight musicianship and honest self expression. On April 12th 2017 they released their Juice EP which is now hailed as a RVA classic. The EP has gone on to garner greater than 1,000,000 streams on Spotify, an impressive feat from a young otherwise unknown troupe from central Virginia.
